The family owned business, was started as early as 1880, was run by our Fore fathers, who came to Sri Lanka from North India. In 1978,  Mr. B.H.Surtani, being the founder member of  the present Pee Bee Group of Companies, decided to diversify into various Trades, to take advantage of the economic boom prevailing in Sri Lanka.

In 1986, Mr. B.H.Surtani ventured into setting up a Trading and Distribution  Office in Singapore, and Sri Lanka operations are today handled by his two Brothers, namely Mr. K.H.Surtani, and  Mr. H.H.Surtani. There are many as ten associate Companies involved in Trading, Manufacturing, Distribution Retailing and Duty Free business in Sri Lanka.

Exclusive Lines has been in the Fragrance, Cosmetics & Skincare business for almost over 20 years. Initially being appointed as Retailer in Sri Lanka for worldwide popular fragrances such as: Gucci, Escada, Dunhill, Mont Blanc, Puma, Mexx, Cindy Crawford, Rochas, Trussardi and Anna Sui.

Gaining popularity with the demand for fragrances over the years for other international brands as well, by people of standing, Exclusive Lines soon reached the top of the ladder in the fragrance industry within double quick time.

Today the company enjoys the position as market leader and franchise holder for over 60 International Brands for Fragrances, Skincare & Cosmetics. With the latest infrastructure, ongoing research and constant developments, Exclusive Lines was able to spread its wings to 14 outlets in strategic locations, mainly in  Colombo, immediate suburbs , 1 in the hill country, and 1 Flagship Store namely Lladro (world’s finest porcelain ware) at Crescat, to add to its portfolio.

Our range of products are categorized into 3 aspects such as A] Luxury, b] Premium and c] Lifestyle.  The clientele who generally purchase are the very affluent and corporate customers, who are the cream of society crowd.

With the influx of the latest range of fragrances brought into our stores from time and again, the market share grew rather rapidly. This enabled us to build a very strong loyalty customer base of our own, basically from all outlets. Today we could proudly boast of a well-established customer base of 10,000 customers who have been very loyal to us to this date.

Various promotions are held on a monthly basis for the active participation of our customer base, and lavish prizes are offered for the lucky winners.

Exclusive Lines is spearheading with the latest development projects that are due to open shortly in the most prestigious Hotels/ Shopping Malls and will make its presence felt, to showcase its range of luxurious brands and products to the well discerning clientele.
