Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with our company’s vision and objectives. This role requires a strong leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. The Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of HR management, including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Oversee the recruitment process for diverse talent across all functions.
  • Implement talent management initiatives, including performance evaluations, career development, and succession planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
  • Conduct regular reviews of compensation structures and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
  • Identify training and development needs within the organization and design programs to address them.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Mitigate HR-related risks through proactive policies, procedures, and training initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication in English & Sinhala (Tamil would be an added advantage) and negotiation abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field, or Professional Qualification in HR Management (PQHRM/CQHRM).
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
