Santal Royal is more Oud Rose fragrance than Sandalwood forward IMO. Opening is very smoky dry oud with some slightly spiciness with beautiful jammy Rose with some Guerlinade type Peach note in the background. I think in the dry down is where you experience the true sandalwood in Santal Royal. It’s woody and creamy which lingers throughout the day. Perfect for Gloomy, Rainy weather or afternoon. 😌
